Hacer Visible el Progreso / Making Progress Visible
Gran parte del trabajo de establecer el Albergue es difícil de ver.
Y, francamente, los detalles pueden ser tediosos excepto para las fanáticos del desarrollo organizacional. Pero aquí hay algunas fotos nuevas tomadas durante la reunión del 4 de julio que hacen que sea más fácil ver el progreso. (Vea más imágenes de progreso de días anteriores en la Galería.)
Por supuesto, no hay ninguna foto que muestre el Manual de Organización, de 31 paginas. Este documento debe ser ante el Estado de Michoacán, y requirió mucho tiempo y trabajo para escribir y presentarlo, del cual Olga es la heroína.

Para hacer este tipo de trabajo, y mas, el Patronato se reúne regularmente y eficientemente cada semana a las 7:30 a.m. (generalmente las martes).
Las paredes del comedor están construidos, gracias a las generosas contribuciones de simpatizantes (ustedes!). El dinero se aplicó directamente a la construcción. Aqui, el piso se esta preparando para el concreto.
Y ya!
Ademas, varios donantes hacen contribuciones mensuales. Estos se reservan en un fondo destinado a los costos operativos continuos cuando se abre el albergue: facturas de servicios públicos, por ejemplo, y seguridad a tiempo completo.

Making Progress Visible
Much of the work of establishing the Albergue is hard to see. And, frankly, details can be tedious except to organizational development nerds. But here are a few new pictures taken during the July 4 meeting that make it easier to see the progress. (See more progress pictures from earlier days in the Gallery.)
Of course, no picture shows the 32-page Organizational Manual required to be filed with the state, though it took a huge amount of time and work, of which Olga was the production and editing hero.

To get work like this done, the Board meets regularly and efficiently at 7:30 a.m. every week, usually on Tuesdays.
Walls of the comedor (dining room) are up, thanks to generous contributions from supporters, which were put to work immediately for construction. Here, the floor is being prepped for the concrete pour.

In addition, several donors are now making monthly contributions. These are set aside in a fund earmarked for ongoing operational costs when the albergue opens: utility bills, for example, and full-time security.
